Shows in St.Mark's Square
The series will be opened on June 27th by Massimo Ranieri with the show
Canto perchè non so nuotare...da 40 anni (I sing because I hadn't been swimming...for 40 years). On June 30th there will be a light and projection show with acoustic set organized by Swatch while on July 1st there will be the Andrea Bocelli's concert. A dance and music show "Pierre Cardin presenta Marco Polo" is scheduled for July 12nd while Simple Minds's concert for SMS Venice (organized to collect founds for the safeguard of the city) is scheduled for July 24.
Finally, there will be also two other concerts in Saint Mark's Square, organized
within the Venezia Jazz Festival: Paolo Conte and the Symphonic
Orchestra of Venice on July 31 and Leonard Cohen on August 3rd.
