The Venice Glass Week

It will take place from 10 to 17 September 2017 the first edition of the International Festival of the City of Venice dedicated to the art of glass, in particular the millennial art of Murano glass. The Venice Glass Week is promoted and organized by the Fondazione Musei Civici of Venice together with the Cini Foundation The glass Rooms, the Veneto Institute of Sciences, Letters and arts and the Consorzio promo Vetro Murano and wants to be a cue for the revitalization of one of the most important artistic activities of Venice. There are over 140 events including exhibitions, conferences, shows, guided tours and workshops that will take place between Venice and Murano throughout the week. Particularly interesting are the aperitifs with the artist who will see the presentation of works, installations and books by the people involved in the work. On this occasion the public can interact and feel involved in a world of ancient art but always present.
