CARNIVAL 2024
Among the shows in the historic center and private parties in Venetian palaces, confetti and beautiful masks, the Carnival of Venice is one of the unmissable festivals of this city, and the next edition will take place from 27TH of January to 13th of February 2024.
Every year, in addition to “Frittelle” and “Chiacchere”, typical Venetian sweets, the Carnival of Venice offers a series of events, the main and most popular every year are definitely: the "Flight of the Angel" from the bell tower of San Marco", the "Venetian Festival on the water" with the parade of rowing associations, and the awarding of the Maria del Carnevale, followed by the "Svolo del Leon".
The Venice Carnival will officially open with the "Venexiana Festival" in the Rio di Cannaregio which will take place on Sunday 28 January 2024 from 11 a.m. where you can taste the typical "galani", "fritoe" and much more.
Finally, in the luxury of Venetian homes, there will be several high-level private parties where you can watch jugglers, fire-breathing, dancers, and other artists of all kinds.
You have the possibility to participate to the most famous carnival party in the world, “Ballo Del Doge” on Saturday 10th of February. There are different type of tiket and the most beautiful thing is that you can be part of this fantastic show wearing a typical Venetian Dress of Antonia Sautter.
